LMHC Makes Progress On Laboratory Report Harmonization, Discusses Current Challenges In Detection Of Corundum Treatments
Holding its 30th meeting in Basel, Switzerland, the Laboratory Manual Harmonisation Committee (LMHC) has reported notable progress in the harmonisation of language used in laboratory reports. The participants in the meeting also discussed and shared new research findings on the treatments of gemstones, and in particular corundum.

Press Release, NOVEMBER 29, 2018: Significant achievements in the harmonisation of wording on laboratory reports and the reporting of new treatments have been chalked up during the 29th meeting of the Laboratory Manual Harmonisation Committee (LMHC), which was hosted by the Gübelin Gem Lab in Lucerne, Switzerland, on November 14 and 15, 2018.
